DA recently had occasion to slip out of Ottawa and spend a weekend in Kansas City, MO. While there, we spent a day at the Nelson-Atkins Museum and were stunned by the incredible craft of the addition, completed in 2007, by Steven
Holl Architects. The entire addition, likened to an 11 storey building on its side, glows at night, thanks to the exterior walls being constructed of cast glass... the building is stunningly crafted,
exquisite in it's construction and conception and,
truly, a wonder to behold.
